Disappearing Lines in to Corners
Disappearing lines in to corners is where you have a photo using leading lines to disappear a line in to a corner. This adds more composition than having the line go through the middle. The lines can be straight, curved or even jagged, any line can lead an eye. The focal point of the photo becomes the line itself rather than the object at the end of the line.
Example 1
This example is of disappearing lines in to corners, it leads the viewers eye down the line in to the top left hand corner. In this photo the line is curved and curves hard left at the end of the line making the line fade with the pavement.
Example 2
In this picture of disappearing lines in to corners the same curved line is being used. Only this time the line is coming from the bottom right corner and exiting through the top right hand corner. The grey colour contrast with the white line to make a more effective leading line.
