Simplicity
Simplicity is where the photographer tries to emphasize an object by making the background irrelevant and simple. The background can even be blurred to make the focal point stand out even more.To do this you need to avoid having leading lines which will take the eye away from the main object.
Example 1
In this example of simplicity the light stands out the most from the blank wall creating simplicity. The dark casing of the light contrast with the white glass making the black casing the focal point.
Example 2
This example of a leaf on fake grass contrast well with the background. Also the small crack on the leave shows as the focal point due to this contrast effect.
